Who We Are
Carl Robicheaux, Attorney

Carl was born and raised in South Louisiana. He graduated from Loyola Law School in New Orleans and is licensed to practice law in Colorado, Louisiana and Connecticut. Carl's vast experience in his varied legal career has spanned 33 years. He has represented individuals in small cases and multi-national corporations in multi-million dollar litigation.
Carl has worked as a solo practitioner and with a small law firm providing legal services to rural clients needing affordable and professional legal representation. He has also represented multi-national insurance companies and Fortune 500 companies in personal injury litigation.
After caring for his elderly mother Carl realized that individuals need a strong voice to help them through everyday legal issues. Carl moved to Estes Park and opened Elkhorn Law in 2018, devoting his practice to legal advice with a focus on elder issues, estate planning, business planning, probate, real estate, HOA law, and business formation. Carl also provides general legal counseling.
Trevor McGuire,
Associate Attorney

Trevor McGuire is an attorney with Elkhorn Law, where his practice focuses on estate planning, business planning, probate, and real estate matters. He represents individuals, families, small businesses, and HOAs across the Estes Valley.

Trevor earned his Juris Doctorate from Baylor University School of Law in 2023. He received his undergraduate degree from Princeton University in 2014. Prior to entering law school, Trevor worked in public policy in Austin, Texas, with an emphasis on higher-education funding.

Trevor is licensed to practice law in Colorado and Texas. He lives in Estes Park with his wife and three kids. When not practicing law, he enjoys spending time with his family at the YMCA of the Rockies, Estes Valley Library, or RMNP. He also teaches a religious education class for middle and high school students at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church.
